Whole Person

approach to

healing

I'm here to be your partner on this journey of self-discovery, to help you understand your pain and find solutions that are unique to you.

Here's How

  • In-person sessions begin with a thorough evaluation of joint, stability, and neurological systems. The results will help to determine the manual therapy and exercise techniques that will be most beneficial.

  • Mind-Body Connection - In-person and online sessions will explore all possible physical and emotional aspects connected to your pain.

  • Pain Reprocessing Therapy can be an effective tool for neuroplastic pain. The key is determine whether the pain is primarily structural in nature or is resulting from a sensitized central nervous system.
  • Pain and health coaching can include addressing behavioral and lifestyle changes, such as sleep, exercise, stress management, and prioritizing yourself.

I am amazed at how much better I feel after each session with Tiffany. Her warmth, experience, compassion, and knowledge, along with her validating and collaborative approach, has helped me navigate a very difficult transition in my life. The stress was contributing to my neck and back pain. I now see the pattern that my pain tends to flare up during stressful periods. Tiffany helped me get through this recent pain episode and find a strategy to avoid future flare-ups.

Hello

My Story

I have been a physical therapist and owner of PT businesses for over two decades. This experience has helped shape my belief in the importance of "zooming out" or taking a helicopter view of each person. Instead of focusing only on the area where the pain is, I take a broad lens and investigate mechanics of the whole body, inconspicuous triggers that may be contributing to flare-ups, and thoughts and beliefs that may be keeping you stuck in pain.

I incorporate findings from pain neuroscience research into tangible applications for my clients. Because the brain is the processing center for all pain, we must include it in the treatment plan!

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family. My husband, two dogs, and I can be spotted walking around Washington Park most days. I do my best to stay fit with a combination of cycling, running, walking, Pilates, and strength-training. I also enjoy cooking, getting out with friends, and traveling.
